Following the footsteps of their father into the construction industry, Smith Custom Building and Design was founded by two brothers eager to combine their abilities to create custom homes with a unique quality and distinct design. They have the desire and the knowledge to build custom homes that capture the needs and preferences of each individual.
Brian Smith is the President of Operations and is committed to each individual build to ensure your home is built to match your custom design. He has worked in a wide array of fields in the construction industry for over 15 years. His knowledge ensures that your home is built properly in every aspect. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Texas A&M University. Brian has been happily married for over 10 years to his lovely wife, Caity Smith. They have 2 kids together, Rylen and Gage.

Steven Smith is the Owner and Architect for Smith Custom Building and Design. Steven has worked with a wide variety of companies through his years in the construction industry, designing homes that vary in style and size. He has designed plans for individual customers, production builders, as well as custom, million dollar remodels throughout the DFW and surrounding areas. His experience gives each customer the insight into unique ideas as they design a custom floorplan together that will become their own custom dream home. Steven is happily married to his wife, Taylor Smith. They have 2 kids; Lillian and Nolan.
